Adam Stiles (DRE #02090455) brings more than two decades of experience to lead Domain_CRE and Domain_Visual. He cultivated a deep understanding of the local market at leading brokerages Compass Commercial, Pinza Group, and Marcus & Millichap, facilitating the sale of hundreds of units across the East Bay, from four-unit to 20-unit properties. Immersing himself within each of the status-quo broker models led to an in-depth market study that revealed new opportunities to better serve clients and agents. With guidance from advisors in CRE brokerage, real estate media, and development, comes a post-2020 model that builds on proven strategies, new sources of value, and less risk.
Adam combines his foundation in property management and construction with his background in marketing and media to provide clients with comprehensive and strategic advice.
Adam worked as a publicist for affordable housing development and renewable energy. Various roles at Dwell Magazine, FiveThirtyEight, Fast Company, and Condé Nast taught invaluable lessons about visual communication and crafting compelling narratives. He is developing Domain_LM, a tool that leverages AI for multi-unit investment research and due diligence optimized for our local market.
A dedicated Oakland resident for nearly two decades, Adam co-founded OpenBudgetOakland.org to foster transparency in Oakland’s budget process, served on Oakland’s Budget Advisory Commission, and volunteered with the Public Ethics Commission and organizations addressing homelessness. His passion for architecture, particularly multi-unit housing, drives the Domain vision to expand affordable housing in the Bay Area. Adam has lived in London, Paris, Chicago, and Brooklyn. He enjoys exploring the outdoors with his fiancé and two sons, reading biographies, and running long distances.
